At LottoStar, we believe every opportunity to win can also be an opportunity to give back.
LottoStar, in partnership with Metro FM, has raised an impressive R967,500 to replace unsafe pit toilets at four underprivileged primary schools in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) through the Woza Win competition.
The funds will be used to build safe, dignified sanitation facilities that will transform the daily lives of learners, teachers and their communities through Breadline Africa.
Four Schools. One Lasting Impact.
The schools that will benefit from the initiative are:
For the learners at these schools, access to safe sanitation is about far more than infrastructure. It is about dignity, health, safety and the opportunity to learn in an environment where their wellbeing comes first.
Replacing unsafe pit toilets helps create schools where children can focus on their education without the risks and challenges posed by inadequate sanitation.
Turning Community Support into Community Impact
The success of our Woza Win competition shows what is possible when organisations and communities come together for a shared purpose.
Together, LottoStar and Metro FM rallied South Africans behind a cause that extends far beyond entertainment. With Breadline Africa leading the implementation of the sanitation projects, the R967,500 raised will leave a legacy for hundreds of learners across KZN.
Investing in Safer Futures
Every child deserves access to safe, clean sanitation facilities. By replacing pit toilets with modern alternatives, this initiative will help create healthier school environments while restoring dignity to learners and peace of mind to parents, teachers and surrounding communities.
These improvements represent more than new buildings – they are an investment in education, wellbeing and the future of South Africa's children.
Thank You for Making a Difference
The success of the Woza Win competition would not have been possible without our players who supported the initiative.
Together, we have raised R967,500 to help transform four schools in KwaZulu-Natal—proving that when people unite behind a meaningful cause, real and lasting change is possible.
LottoStar is proud to have partnered with Metro FM and Breadline Africa to create opportunities that go beyond the entertainment and support the communities that need them most.
Because at LottoStar, charity is our privilege, not an obligation.
