At LottoStar, giving back is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why our Woza Win competition on Ukhozi FM proudly supported Gift of the Givers, one of Africa’s leading humanitarian organisations.

For over three decades, Gift of the Givers has been a lifeline in times of crisis – providing disaster relief, fighting hunger, supporting healthcare, advancing education, and ensuring access to water for vulnerable communities.

Thanks to our incredible players, we raised R879,000 in support of this remarkable cause. This contribution will fund 1,758 water filter buckets, each valued at R500. Every bucket has the power to sustain an average of five people with safe, clean drinking water for two years – a true gift of life.

At the centre of this mission is Pure Flow Amanzi, an initiative tackling South Africa’s urgent water crisis. Over 10 million South Africans still live without access to safe, clean water – a basic human right. Gift of the Givers’ solution is simple yet revolutionary:

• A gravity-powered water filtration bucket, requiring no electricity.
• Removes 99.99% of harmful bacteria, including E. coli.
• Delivers 1 litre of clean water every 2 minutes.
